National Retail Solutions provides point-of-sale, payment, and digital solutions to independent retailers across the United States and Canada. The company is currently developing a new restaurant POS platform to expand its operations into the restaurant technology market.

• Architect, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and PHP;
• Take ownership of significant system components across the front-end, backend services, and APIs;
• Contribute to architectural design, technical planning, and the definition of engineering best practices;
• Ensure platform performance, scalability, and security;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code;
• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions;
• Own code quality through rigorous code reviews and the use of AI tools;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack;
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, and cross-functional meetings;
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across time zones.

• 5+ Years of full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role;
• Strong front-end experience with modern web frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular;
• Hands-on back-end expertise with Node.js and frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Fastify;
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Expertise in relational databases, SQL, and data schema modeling;
• Experience building SaaS products or complex web platforms;
• Git and CI/CD workflow expertise;
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
• Working knowledge of Linux;
• Nice to have: Working knowledge of PHP, experience with mobile development (Android/Kotlin), familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), experience with websockets and socket.io, experience with SQL query optimization (Postgres).
